Tying The Nautical Knot

You can enjoy your private wedding cruise of Newport Beach (either by day or night),
aboard one of Southern California's most striking private yachts: the Electra,
Athena, Newport Princess, Destiny, or Crystal. There will be a
stateroom available for the bride and her party to dress for the occasion, and another for the
groom and groomsmen. There is ample room for your guests to stroll from the main salons to other
rooms aboard and a relaxing meander from deck to deck after the wedding ceremony, as your reception
gets under way.
When your guests board, they are directed to the ceremony site on the upper deck. Once
the groom is in place, the mother of the bride has been seated, all is ready for the familiar
strains of Here Comes The Bride, as the lady of the day makes her way down the aisle.
Decor on the yachts can include spectacular floral displays with clouds of snow-white
tulle draped dramatically from the upper deck railings. You might also include a floral arch
under which the ceremony can be performed by our dressed-in-full-uniform captain (or you may
opt for your own clergyman).

beneath the California sky,
by day a blue expanse of sky dotted with frothy white puffs of clouds and seabirds flying, or
by night a canopy of starlit velvet with the soft roll of the sea beneath an unbelievable
"natural" addition to the wedding decor. After the ceremony, your reception begins and
guests can enjoy cocktails and the sights of the beautiful harbor, including many elegant looking
cruisers and yachts with billowing sails and spinnakers, sturdy masts, and lovely looking homes
tucked cozily against the water's edge. It's paradise for your wedding photographer as
unforgettable natural backdrops are everywhere for your memorable wedding pictures.
As you and your guests sip your favorite cocktails and enjoy the invigorating ocean air,
you can look forward to a specially prepared meal. After dinner and cake you can dance the night
away as you enjoy the beautiful ocean backdrop. You don't have to be a lover of the sea to
