We have five yachts of various sizes that act as our private venues. From the beautiful, timeless Electra, to the luxurious, breathtaking Eternity, we have a yacht that can accommodate a wide range of guest counts and preferences. They each have their own unique style and layout, yet can all offer the same beautiful experience for you and your guests. We specialize in private events so the yacht is exclusive to you and your company attendees and family.

Packages start at four hours, in which that entire time is spent sailing the beautiful Newport Harbor. We also take care of the behind the scenes logistics such as crew members, fuel, insurance, and city permits so you don’t have to worry about a thing!

Only the freshest ingredients are chosen to prepare every item and all preparation is done in our galley kitchen to insure freshness.

We pride ourselves in being the only charter company in Newport Beach who has a fully commercial galley on each of our yachts. This allows for our talented chefs to make customized menus to your taste that is made fresh minutes before it is served. We offer full service sit-down style meals as well as a buffet style. The food is served by our amazing staff dressed in full tuxedos on fine china and silver service wear.

We are accommodating to all dietary restrictions including vegan, gluten free, and allergies.

Each yacht is equip with a fully stocked bar on each deck for your convenience. Each bar is loaded with a variety of alcohol from beer, well drinks, and top shelf liquors all available in bar packages. Soda bar packages are also available which include sodas, juices, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. Whether you are looking to host alcohol or not, we have something for everyone.

Behind the bars you will also find well-trained, licensed bartenders who bring the life to any party! Want a specific type of alcohol? No problem, let us know so we can make the arrangements for you.

Professional DJ will discuss your music needs for your special company event.

Our professional DJs are not only reliable and incredibly talented, but they can bring the life to any party. Our DJs can also serve as the Master of Ceremonies so there is no need to hire one! It is a two-for-one deal.

Plus, they offer a variety of services as well including photo booths, uplighting to add color and drama to any room, projectors and screens for slideshows or presentations, microphone systems, karaoke, casino tables and so much more!

Once you begin the event planning journey, you will be paired with an experienced event planner who will help guide you every step of the way. You will never walk alone. Your planner is there to keep you on track and remind you of things along the way. The day of your event, you will have an on-board coordinator who acts as your right hand gal. Some FAQs regarding your corporate event.

At Electra Cruises all of our events are held within the Harbor where the water is calm, there are no ocean waves in sight, and the yachts sail very slowly. Plus the yachts are simply too large to be affected by a wave!

Majority of our events are held in 4 hours. Unless you anticipate having a longer event it tends to be more than enough time. In that case we can always add more time! Just ask a representative!

Each of our yachts has a full galley head chef and kitchen staff who work diligently the day of your event to prepare your customized menu. Everything is prepared from scratch on the yacht itself according to your event so nothing is catered or will sit out for long periods of time.

Depending on the size of your party we can host a small intimate corporate event for 20 or have all of your employees and clients for an event of 300. The beauty of having a yacht event is having a designated deck for all of your festivities so you never feel crammed.

While we have guests in wheelchairs almost weekly our largest yacht the Eternity has an elevator that reaches all 3 decks so no one has to miss a beat!

Guests with young children or elderly tend to be concerned about not being able to leave if needed. Not only are there water taxis and gondolas who can take private parties back to the dock, there are medical water ambulances that can arrive at the yacht within seconds if there is an emergency.

Because our yachts are almost entirely enclosed the nature of your party will not be affected rain or shine. In fact photographers prefer overcast weather for your photos!

Our service staff is also made up of knowledgeable experienced deckhands who are constantly doing engine room checks to prevent problems and ensure the yacht is running properly.

You will be provided an Area Hotel List. Some hotels do have shuttle service available.

Guest list is required for Eternity yacht only. However it is nice to have so that our crew knows who has arrived and boarded the yacht and who is missing to alert the event planner before departure time.

You will be provided a map for your invitations that also has an automated phone number that will get any guests from anywhere in Southern California directly to the yacht. You will also be provided suggested verbiage for your invitations.

Let us know at finalization how many vegetarian meals you will need in addition to your selected gourmet menu.

Linen colors for tablecloths, overlays and napkins are Black, White, Ivory, Burgundy, Hunter Green and Navy Blue. You may use one color as a tablecloth and another color as an overlay.

After initial deposit is paid we will finalize all details at the very latest 2 weeks prior to the event date so invoice can be presented for payment. Balance due is 2 weeks prior to event date.

No, unless you would like to.  We can reserve via email, phone and fax.

To reserve the yacht, date and time the initial deposit that goes towards the balance is $2,000. You may if you would like reserve with $500 hold and $1,500 in 30 days. We take cash, credit cards or personal check for initial deposit.
